My interest in nutrition peaked after my dad was diagnosed with colon cancer. After reading multiple articles and books explaining how diet directly affected cancer risk and treatment, my eyes were opened to the importance of eating a healthy diet.

But, like many, eating healthy didn’t come naturally. I was raised on the typical American diet of processed foods and regularly ate at chain restaurants. As a teenager and into my early 20’s, I had an unhealthy relationship with food. I tried about a dozen fad diets, all of which left me feeling worse and usually weighing more than I had before. I ran marathons and set personal records in the weight room, but felt like complete crap mentally and physically while doing so.

It wasn’t until I took a step back, slowed down, and ditched the word “diet” that I had any success. I learned that good nutrition comes from a well-rounded, whole-foods diet. Meaning, that if you replace processed junk food with REAL foods, your health will improve tenfold. I also learned that eating healthy is a lifestyle. In other words, it’s something you must work at every day.

In 2019, I completed my Precision Nutrition certification providing me with all the necessary tools to effectively coach clients like YOU! I believe that there is no “one size fits all” approach to nutrition. Everyone’s bodies are different, thus so are everyone's dietary needs. I am not here to offer you a strict meal plan, instead, I’m here to offer you real life coaching. Together we’ll work on building a healthier, happier you.

Change takes time and requires growth and I’m here to guide you and push you along the way. I look forward to working with you and helping you achieve your goals!
