My interest in nutrition peaked after my dad was diagnosed with colon cancer. After reading multiple articles and books explaining how diet directly affected cancer risk and treatment, my eyes were opened to the importance of eating a healthy diet.

I was raised on the typical American diet of processed foods. As a teenager and into my early 20’s, I had an unhealthy relationship with food. It wasn’t until I took a step back, slowed down, and ditched the word “diet” that I had any success. I learned that eating healthy is a lifestyle. In other words, it’s something you must work at every day.

In 2019, I completed my Precision Nutrition certification providing me with the necessary tools to effectively coach clients like YOU! I believe that there is no “one size fits all” approach to nutrition. Everyone’s bodies are different, thus so are everyone's dietary needs.
